Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Some websites have been getting messed up in a way. Sometimes when I go on one of them, some pictures don't show, some links that used to be hidden become regular blue underlined links, and it sometimes seems like my Java, flash, etc. might be messed up. But when I try to see what's wrong, everything looks fine. Even on this site, half of the time I click on a link, it brings me to a page that only has text! Today is when it really started, but some pictures didn't show up on a site like a week ago. Right now a site I have been going to, Kingdom of Loathing, is almost completely messed up! Before, it was completely fine. Is there a solution?
