Honda Prelude 89 2.0 si problem please help it starts then when gas is pushed shakes and stops?

i have a honda prelude 2.0 si i starte the car and it turns on then when i push on the gas is shakes and kinda back fires i just put a engin in and ran fine for 5 days then it started this yesterday i dont know it sounds like its taking in air but i checked all the va hoses and kinda think it may be the programmed fuel injected dont know what you think?
