Sims 3 release date.?

Alrighty, so this isnt really a question, more like a statement about the sims 3 release date. so today i went to my local game store (EB Games aka GameStop) and i asked when the sims 3 comes out and the lady says that it has been pushed back yet AGAIN and it comes out in august now :| . Will sims 3 EVER come out?!?!?!?!?! geez
