Moving house, getting new dog - What to do with fish?

Put the fish in a baggie with water from the tank in it. When you get them back in the newly set up tank ( leave about half or less water in it when moving) float the bag for thirty minutes for the water temps to adjust so they don't go in to shock. And good luck with the puppy. The fish won't care if you got a dog or not. It was a coincidence at your friends house of the dog had access to the fishbowl!
