My grade for the semester...?

So I had a "B" on our midterm, probably around an A-B average for the quizzes and then took the final exam, which I think I got probably a B to a C. So I logged onto the universities website where you go to check grades and for that cl my grade was listed as "incomplete." If a grade hasn't been posted that space is blank. Anyone have a guess why this might be? I"ve emailed the professor but he hasn't gotten back to me yet.
